Like you, the team at Moreton Kids Festival have been closely monitoring the weather situation and forecasts over the past few weeks. Sadly, due to the continued rainfall at Pine Rivers Park and South East Queensland we have been forced to cancel Moreton Kids Festival, due to run this Sunday, 22 May.
This decision was not an easy one to make, and comes after months of planning and hard work pulling together what we believe was going to be our best program yet! The recent rain falls, in addition to forecast weather for the weekend, have been deemed to make the event site unusable for this weekend. After extensive consultation the site was deemed too wet to procced with the event and setting up the event would cause significant damage to the park and surrounds, with postponement not an option at this stage.
Rest assured that ALL ticket holders will be issued refunds in the coming days. Refunds will be issued to the card used to purchase the ticket – if these credit card details have changed, or the card has been cancelled, please let us know ASAP with your new credit card details – by emailing events.support@mbrit.com.au . If your card details have not changed, you do not need to take any action, the refund will happen automatically! We ask that you please allow 5-7 working days for these refunds to process.
