Stay COVID Safe at Moreton Kids Festival

It is essential all ticket holders read the following COVID-related information before purchasing your ticket(s):

Moreton Kids Festival will be operated in accordance with Queensland Government and Queensland Health regulations pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic and its status at the time of the event.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENT

All ticketholders, staff, performers, contractors, and other event attendees 16 years of age and older MUST be fully vaccinated to attend this event. Children 15 years of age and under are not legally required to prove vaccination status in order to attend this ticketed event.

Proof of vaccination status must be provided at time of entry (for those aged 16 years and over) via the Queensland Government COVID Check-in app (other approved methods of vaccination proof may be accepted, but this is at the discretion of event staff at the time of check). Under strict guidelines from Queensland Health, entry will be refused if you are unable to prove your full vaccination status.

QR CODE CHECK-IN

In addition to the above, as a condition of entry to this event, you are required to provide contact details for yourself and any other additional attendees upon entry. All event attendees will be required to check-in using the QR codes available at entry.

TICKETS NON-REFUNDABLE

Tickets are non-refundable except as outlined in our terms and conditions. This includes ticketholders who are unvaccinated against COVID-19.

Please ensure you have the Queensland Government COVID Check-in app. We will have QR codes available for you to scan and you must show your check-in status upon entry.

RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY

Event staff and security have the right to refuse entry into the event space should an attendee display COVID-19 symptoms or is unable to prove their full vaccination status.

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

Social distancing plays a vital role in slowing the spread of COVID-19. Please ensure you are keeping a safe distance between yourself and others.

If a space in the event looks crowded or concerning, please let the event staff or security know immediately and please avoid the area.

ARE YOU UNWELL?

  • If you are feeling unwell or have a cough, sore throat, fever, fatigue or shortness of breath, please stay at home.
  • If you have been in contact with a person with a known positive case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please stay at home.
  • If you have been tested for COVID-19 and are waiting the results, please stay at home.
  • If you have traveled overseas or in a declared hotspots within Australia and are require to quarantine under laws aimed for reducing the spread of COVID-19, please stay at home.

Ensure you keep up to date with the relevant information give from Queensland Health.

CLEAN HANDS

Keep up the good hand hygiene, start singing "Happy Birthday" when you put the soap on and rinse it off when the song finishes!

Why not double up on the hand hygiene! Plenty of hand sanitiser around the grounds for that! We also recommend you pack your own so that you can continue to apply throughout the day!

LISTEN OUT

COVID announcements will be delivered throughout the day via the MC on stage. Please listen to the MC on stage for these important announcements.

Please ensure you listen to the announcements and follow the instructions of all event staff and volunteers.

FEELING UNWELL?

If you become unwell while attending Moreton Kids Festival, please locate event staff, security or first aid personnel immediately. The Event team will implement relevant COVID safe practices as per the approved COVID Safe event plan.
