Tickets

Yes. Due to COVID we are strongly encouraging everyone to purchase their tickets online this year. When you purchase your ticket online you will complete the required contact tracing details online rather than needing to do it at the gate. Tickets for entry can also be purchased on the day, there may be a lengthy wait time in the queue this year as we need to safely accommodate social distancing while in the queue as well as get details from all the attendees for contact tracing purposes. Yes we do have an eftpos machine, we strongly encourage to pay via card rather than cash this year.

Children aged 2 years and under can enter the event for free.

If you are a carer with valid proof of identification you do not need to pay an entry fee as long as you are accompanying a paying patron. You will still however be required to complete the contact tracing form upon entry to Moreton Kids Festival.

Parking

Moreton Kids Festival has a designated parking area. Please follow traffic marshal instructions on arrival at the event.

Yes there are limited accessible parking spots at the event, please follow traffic marshals directions upon arrival.

General

Yes! Festival patrons can leave the event and re-enter ON THE SAME DAY. The gate security guard will provide you with a wristband to secure to your wrist upon exiting the event.

No. No matter how cute they are or how much they beg you to come, the Moreton Kids Festival has a strict no-dogs or pets policy. Please leave your fur-babies at home. This is to ensure the safety of all event patrons. However, services dogs are permitted.

There will be a designated ‘Parent's Room’ where you will be able to relax. Facilities include baby change facilities, comfy chairs for breastfeeding and a microwave.

Restricted or Banned Items include:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Pepper spray/mace
  • Alcohol
  • Illicit Substances
  • Fireworks & Flares
  • Glass bottles
  • Any other items deemed to be unsuitable by event staff Any person or persons found within the event area in the possession of any of the above items will be removed from the site.

No. You cannot bring alcohol into the festival.

Yes. However, please do not bring anything in glass.

If you’ve lost an item during the day at Moreton Kids Festival, please head to the Information Tent. If the item is not there, we ask that you leave your phone number with staff and a description of the lost item. We often come across lost property after the event has closed for the day. Lost property is kept by Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism at their head office at 433 Elizabeth Ave, Kippa-Ring Qld 4021, for a period of four weeks. Please call 07 3897 4999 post Moreton KidsFest to see if we have your lost item.

Yes! We have ATM machines located around the festival.

No. There are no cloak room facilities at Moreton Kids Festival.

No, this is a non-smoking event.

Rides in the Brisbane Kids Fun Kids world are all FREE!
