What to Bring to Moreton Kids Festival

Thinking of bringing the kids along to Moreton KidsFest in 2022? We know just how stressful preparing for a day out with the little ones can be, so we've compiled a list of our top recommendations of things you should bring with you!

Hydration is extremely important when spending the day out in the sun.

To save yourself (and the environment) from purchasing throw-away plastic water bottles, bring your own reusable water bottle from home. We will have hydration stations at the event for you to refill your water bottles all day!

Although if you do forget, you'll be able to stay hydrated and keep those bellies full by visiting one of our food trucks and market stalls!

Be sun safe!

Ensure you pack a hat for everyone in your family and don't forget the sunscreen!

We all know how hot Queensland weather can be, particularly while you have a blast in our 5 Worlds of Fun!

We strongly recommend that you pack a picnic blanket for your family to sit on and enjoy the stage entertainment! We anticipate large crowds, which means that the best way to secure a seat is to bring your own!

Sit front of stage and watch Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol LIVE on the Main Stage, presented by Strathpine Centre!

Hygiene is key!

We should all be used to this by now! Stay safe and make sure you sanitise regularly.

After all the fun and games, your little ones will need to clean their hands before they tuck into some food. Although there will be wash basins available at the amenities blocks and sanitiser available at our Information Tent, we also suggest packing additional sanitiser and baby wipes to keep everyone's hands clean!

This will be especially handy after you visit our hands on Green Kids and Creative Kids zones where kids can go wild with creativity, gardening workshops, face painting, and so much more!

#5 | PHONE

You'll need your phone for many reasons at Moreton Kids Festival!

QR Code Check In - All ticketholders, staff, performers, contractors, and other event attendees 16 years of age and older MUST be fully vaccinated to attend this event. Children 15 years of age and under are not legally required to prove vaccination status in order to attend this ticketed event. Proof of vaccination status must be provided at time of entry (for those aged 16 years and over) via the Queensland Government COVID Check-in app. More COVID-related information can be found here.

Safety - It's always best to hold on to your phone so that you can call emergency services or located friends and family when you need. If you do experience any emergency situations you may also flag down our event staff or visit our First Aid tent on site!

Photos - Snap those precious moments of your kids laughing and playing. While there will be photographers at Kids Fest, we can’t guarantee we will capture every cute, silly, or funny moment your kids have so come prepared and bring your own camera or phone. Be sure to post them online and tag @MoretonKidsFestival and #MoretonKidsFestival
